Compared to last week: Feeder cattle and calves not well tested in early rounds but a definite lower undertone is noted. Demand is moderate at best. Cattle futures turned negative midweek last week and fell out of bed on Friday. Demand for calves is further limited as a cold front is moving thru later this evening bringing storms, cooler temps and strong north winds. Quality so far, mostly average.
