Compared to last week: Feeder steers over 750lbs 6.00-12.00 higher, under 750lbs 15.00-20.00 higher. Feeder heifers 5.00-10.00 higher. Demand good. This week, the feeder market regained all of last week's losses as buyers were in an agressive buying mood across all classes of cattle. Steer calves 5.00-15.00 higher. Heifer calves steady to 5.00 higher. Most of the trading area received a good rain over the past week, which helped create high demand for steer calves. Calf supply included some fescue haired cattle, but not nearly the volume seen a week ago. Feeders and calves in thin fleshed condition sold very well, regardless of the quality.
