Compared to last sale: Feeder steers and steer calves 5.00-10.00 higher conservatively. Feeder heifers 5.00-10.00 higher with 650 lb heifers as much as 30.00 higher. Heifer calves 15.00-20.00 higher. Demand strong. Quality attractive with several fancy drafts. After the 2-week holiday break, buyers came in today ready to replenish their supplies despite dry conditions. Several weight classes have shown robust demand, as many buyers were competing for the same cattle. The CME feeder futures board closed with a 3.50 increase, contributing to the overall upward trend in pricing.
