Compared to last sale: In a light comparison, feeder steer 10.00-15.00 lower conservatively. Feeder heifers 2.00 higher on better quality and condition. Steer and heifer calves steady to 5.00 lower. Demand good. Quality average to attractive with few fancy. Today was the first calf and feeder sale since the holiday. While we were away the market experienced a significant price drop from November 18-24, 2025, followed by a rebound in late November and early December indicating a strengthening market. The market commentary highlights a rebound in prices, suggesting a volatile period plagued with both significant losses and subsequent gains. Today's sale served as evidence to these trends.
