Compared to last sale: Feeder steer are 2.00-5.00 higher. Feeder heifers are 3.00-6.00 higher. Steer calves 2.00-4.00 lower. Heifer calves remained overall steady except for 400-500 lbs, they were 10.00 lower on lesser quality cattle. A notable increase in feeder prices was observed today, largely due to the sale of substantial volumes of feeder cattle in large lots. Demand continues to be strong. The quality of cattle varied from plain to attractive, few fancy.
