Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last sale: Slaughter bulls 5.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher. Quality average to attractive. Demand strong. Packer buyers definitely had a battle on their hands today as ranchers pushed to purchase cattle to return to the country. Temperatures reached a record 106 Thursday last week followed by 64 degrees on Friday. Forecast is calling for more wind, low humidity and more temperature fluctuations the rest of this week.
