Compared to last week: Feeder steers 3.00-5.00 lower. Feeder heifers showed a much lower undertone on few comparable sales. Steer calves mostly 2.00 higher. Heifer calves 4.00 lower. Demand good for longer weaned calves, moderate for heifers. Quality average to attractive. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm. Slaughter bulls sold 1.00 lower. A total of 198 cows and bulls sold with 59 percent going to packers. Next Thursday December 19th will be the last sale of the year and include a customer appreciation meal.
