Steer and heifer calves traded mostly firm to 6.00 higher, with the exception of steer calves under 400 pounds which traded with a much lower undertone on a light test. Trading activity was active on good buyer demand. Quality was mostly average to attractive. There were several nice consignments of long weaned calves off the short grass with favorable weigh ups on offer. A cold front moved across the region, dropping temperatures into the single digits.
