As filed

Compared to two weeks ago steers and heifers less than 500 lbs sold sharply lower. Steers from 500 to 600 lbs sold steady, over 600 lbs sold 3.00 to 10.00 lower. Heifers from 500 to 600 lbs sold steady and over 600 lbs sold 7.00 to 10.00 lower. Demand was good even though the CME cattle boards continued to slide in a negative way the last three working days. Bulk of the light cattle going to the farmer/feeder buyers with the large drafts of feeder cattle going to mostly order buyers. Some cattle will state in the local feeding area with others going to Iowa.
