Reporter comment USDA

As filed

First reported sale in several weeks a market trend is not applicable. Mostly light to moderate demand for calves with good demand for yearlings. Change in the weather along with quite a lot of corn in the field brought a light crowd of farmer/feeder buyers to the seats. Most cattle sold to order buyers. Offering comprised of calves in small packages with some packages and load lots of yearling feeder cattle in the run. Some of the calves were weaned, some coming right off the cow with a mix bag of vaccination protocols throughout the day. The local trade area consumed some of the offerings with other going East to Iowa. Next Special Calf and Feeder sale will be in two weeks on Nov 15.
