First reported sale for West Point Livestock Auction. Monday's sale was their annual customer appreciation bbq auction with a large crowd of buyers and spectators on hand. Demand was moderate to good as buyers were a tick cautious due to the volatility displayed from the CME boards the last few days. A nice run of bawling calves, weaned calves and yearling feeders with many load lots and part loads on the day. Most of the calves had vaccination shots, some had precondition shots. Bulk of the yearling cattle came out of grow yards.
