As filed

Compared to two weeks ago, steers less than 850 lbs sold 4.00 to 8.00 higher. Over 850 lbs sold 2.00 higher. Bulk of the heifers sold steady to weak except a flat 6 wt heifers sold 8.00 higher. Demand was moderate to good. Active internet buying on the day. Very large string of one iron heifers came to town due to the "Morrill" range fire in the trade area. The ranch company lost all its winter and summer grazing along with stock piles of hay and made the decision to sell their bangs vaccinated heifers. Rain is needed across the state to help revitalize the burned and non-burned Sandhills grass lands.
