As filed

Compared to last week, steers less than 450 lbs sold unevenly steady and over 450 lbs sold 4.00 to 7.00 higher. Most lots of heifer calves sold 3.00 to 6.00 higher with 400 to 500 lbs selling sharply higher on the day. Nice crowd of buyers bid readily from start to finish for mostly precondition calves. Most calves were hide, hair and running gear condition as they came out of very dry range conditions. Living off mommas' milk and top-quality genetics. Yearling operators have had a profitable year and are eager to get these light calves bought while they are available. Feedlots traded some of their cash show list 2.00 higher on dressed sales at 298.00 and live sales sold 3.00 to 4.00 higher from 190.00 to 192.00.
