First reported sale in several weeks a market trend is not applicable. Demand was good even though the CME cattle boards traded sharply lower throughout the day. Less than a handful of loads of cattle on Tuesday with most offerings selling in packages. Bulk of the sale comprised of preg checked open heifers coming from replacement heifers that never bred. Most were home raised, with years of breeding top quality angus genetics out of the Sandhills. Few, fresh bawling calves on the day with most only having springtime shots.
