Compared to two weeks ago, steers under 750 lbs sold 3.00 to 8.00 higher, instances 12.00 higher on a flat 500 lbs offerings. Over 750 lbs steady. Heifers from 500 to 750 lbs sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher. Large crowd of buyers bid readily from start to finish. Bulk of the grass type cattle were light fleshed (green in condition). Several lots coming out of backgrounding lots sold with quite a lot of tag or mud on their hides. But the quality of those lots was good and buyers overlooked the pounds of mud they were buying.
