As filed

Compared to last week most steer and heifer calves sold 15.00 to 20.00 lower, except a flat 500 lbs steer sold steady. Demand was light to moderate from the buyers in the crowd and on the internet. Nice offering of bawling spring calves on offer the majority of which had received at least one round of fall vaccinations. Sharp losses in the CME cattle pits through most of the week showed up at Friday cash sale as buyers were reluctant to purchase cattle. Plus impeding rain and already muddy weaning pens slowed the buyers enthusiasm.
