Compared to last week steer calves over 450 lbs sold 5.00 to 8.00 higher except 500-550 lbs steers calves sold steady to 7.00 lower. Heifers calves over 400 lbs sold steady to 3.00 lower except 500-550 lbs heifer calves sold steady to 4.00 higher. Most of the calves that had not received fall vaccinations sold at a sizable discount. Demand was moderate to good from the buyers in the crowd.
