Compared to last week, steers under 500 lbs sold 1.00-2.00 lower and over 500 lbs sold 1.00-3.00 higher. Heifers under 600 lbs sold 1.00-3.00 lower except 450 to 500 lbs sold 4.00 higher. Demand was moderate to good from the buyers in the crowd with calves that had not received their fall vaccinations selling at a discount. Near 275 head of slaughter cows and bulls are included in the receipts.
