Compared to two weeks ago, most lots of steer calves sold 8.00 higher. Heifer calves sold 3.00 to 4.00 higher. No comparable offerings for a market trend on yearlings. Demand was good for the light run of preg checked open heifers, yearling steers, weaned and bawling calves, Most lots of calves had fall vaccinations. Some calves running out in cornfields since feed resources are very short in the trade area. Next special sale will be in two weeks.
