Compared to two weeks ago steers and heifers sold sharply higher on the day. Bulk of the sale was sold in packages with a few straight loads in the mix. Buyers jumped in on the opening chant and the race was on to see who would fill their orders first. Variety of quality and kind with some bawling fall calves, weaned fall calves with a few true yearlings in the run. Next week will be a special bred cow and pair sale. Two weeks on May 31 will be a calf and feeder auction.
