Compared to two weeks ago, yearling steers sold 2.00 to 4.00 lower. Yearling heifers steady to 4.00 lower. Demand was moderate to good. Majority of the cattle came off the dry, short summer grass. Wednesday feeder cattle market followed the downward trend of the CME cattle boards and the feedlot sales. So far, early dressed sales in Nebraska have sold at 160.00-161.00, 2.00 to 3.00 lower than last week. Sharply colder temperatures and light rain the last couple of days in the trade area. Next sale will be Sept 23.
