Compared to last week steers and heifers sold unevenly steady. Bulk of the sale comprised of bawling, non-weaned calves with some weaned calves hitting the market. Buyers preferred calves with fall precondition shots. Demand was good for the short supply of yearling cattle with light to moderate demand on calves. Some buyers noted trucks are getting in short supply across the region as large sales are prevailing in the Midwest. Special calf and feeder auction November 13th.
