Compared to two weeks ago 600 lbs steers sold 10.00 higher, 750 lbs 4.00 higher on a thin test with yearling feeders steady. Heifers under 600 lbs sold 4.00 higher, over 750 lbs sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Demand was good from start to finish with a large crowd of buyers on hand. Majority of the offering came off of summer grass. Near 270 head of slaughter cattle included in the total head count. Next live auction and video auction will be in two weeks, August 14th.
