Compared to two weeks ago, 400 to 500 lbs steers sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher, 500 to 650 lbs sold 10.00 higher, with instances of sharply higher market on weights over 650 lbs. Heifers less than 500 lbs and over 600 lbs sold steady with all other weights trading 10.00 higher. Demand was good with several buyers and an active internet buying trying to fill orders before the end of the year. Bulk of the sale was long time weaned calves with a few bawlers in the mix. Next sale will be January 4, 2025.
