Compared to last week steers calves under 600 lbs sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher and heifers calves under 600 lbs sold 4.00 to 8.00 higher. Steers calves over 600 lbs sold 2.00 higher and not enough heifers calves over 600 for a test. Preg checked open yearling heifers sold steady to 3.00 higher. Demand was good throughout the sale from in-house and internet buyers. Some loads heading to wheat grazing in Kansas. Most calves were in light to medium flesh with fall vaccination shots. Next Saturday, November 27, will be a Special yearling, weaned and bawling calf sale with start time at 8:30 sharp.
