Compared to two weeks ago most lots of steers sold 7.00 to 9.00 higher. Heifers sold steady to 3.00 higher. Demand was good with several buyers on the seats. Quite of few, longtime weaned and preconditioned calves in the run. Most were light to medium fleshed and most cattle endured blizzard conditions last week decreasing some pay weights. Next Thursday, Dec 12 slaughter cow and bull sale and Friday, Dec 13 will be a bred heifer and cow sale.
