Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared with last week steers sold unevenly steady while 450 lbs heifers sold 8.00 higher, 400 and 500 lbs heifers sold 4.00-5.00 higher and 550 lbs heifers sold 1.00 higher. There was a good crowd on hand today for good strings and packages of mainly preconditioned calves coming strait off of the cow. Trade today was good with demand being moderate to good with bidding from the internet. Crawford's next sale will be a feeder calf special November 1.
