The Annual Customer Appreciation BBQ Auction started the day at 8:00 AM, with the sale of weigh-up cattle and 150 to 300 lb calves. This was followed by the sale of bred fall-calving cows, offered due to drought conditions and bred for August-September. The highlight of the day featured offerings of fall calves and several loads of yearlings off grass. No recent test of market for an accurate comparison, a market trend will not be provided for steers or heifers. Demand was good, supported by several buyers and active bidding from the internet.
