Market report for today's Special Bred Female and Pair Auction with fall calves and feeders The auction started the day with 425 weigh-up cattle, then onto 19 baby calves off the cow, ranging from $650 to $1,700. Pairs were in good condition with calves tagged to match. Fall-bred females calving August through September consisted primarily of black and black-white-faced offerings bred to black Angus and Hereford bulls. Some producers brought cattle to town today to reduce pasture numbers due to short grass conditions. Next Auction Date June 19th with Weigh-Ups and June 26th Special Calf and Feeder Auction
