Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to two weeks ago heavy supply, most weights of steers sold 4.00 to 9.00 higher with flat 6 and 9 weight steers 14.00 higher. Heifers less than 650 lbs sold 4.00 to 8.00 higher and 7 weights sold 1.00 higher. Demand was good to instances very good. Offerings comprised of weaned and bawling fall calves with a few yearlings in the run. Some of the fall born bawling steer and heifer calves were not discounted for not being weaned and brought the top price in some weight groups. Moderate crowd of buyers on the seats with a very active bidding and buying on the internet.
