Compared to last week: Feeder steers were mixed throughout the weight ranges with the best tests being on 500-550 lbs 8.00 lower and 550-650 lbs 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers mostly 4.00 to 9.00 higher with instances of 15.00 higher. Buyers had their pick of steers where the heifer supply was tighter. Demand good especially so on double vaccinated cattle with no implants which happened to be the bulk of the sale offering. Buyers actively pursued the string after string of stock with condition to burn and the right attributes to gaining alot of pounds quickly. The active bidding didn't let up as the consignors kept exhibiting uniform and attractive stock into the ring.
