As filed

Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers 2.00 to 5.00 lower in a narrow comparison, feeder heifers steady to 5.00 lower. Moderate demand for the couple consignments of spring born calves, good demand for the yearling consignments. Flesh condition was light and attractive as these cattle are coming right off grass. The yearling market was active as there is plenty of interest in placing yearlings on feed, however with the volatility in the cattle futures complex there was some pressure on the market. Cattle feeders had to accept lower bids if they wanted to sell fat cattle this week. Yearling and spring calf feeder cattle sale next week Oct. 2, 2025.
