Compared to 2 weeks ago: Much larger sale this week, making a complete price comparison difficult, Feeder steers and heifers sold with firm to higher undertones. Very active sale for this years anniversary BBQ sale. A very large offering of yearling steers and heifers off grass, the flesh condition was very light and attractive. Many long strings, including the feature consignment of 2000 steers and heifers from 1 outfit. Numerous full loads and multiple load lots allowing cattle buyers to make full feed yard pens of cattle from a single source. Demand was very good as cattle feeders are willing to chase the market in order to get their grass yearling cattle bought. The next feeder special is Sept. 28th.
