Compared to last week feeder steers 450 to 500 lbs. were 5.00 higher and steers above 600 lbs. were steady to 1.00 lower. Feeder heifers 500 to 550 bs. were 2.00 higher; 600 to 650 bs. were 7.00 lower and 700 to 750 lbs. were 2.00 lower. A smaller run of feeders this week due to extreme cold weather. Buyer demand was very good for the smaller offering. Most feeders were in light to moderate flesh condition. The lighter weight steers and heifers were in good demand to be put out on grass this spring.
