Compared to last week feeder steers 600 to 800 lbs. were steady with instances of 2.00 lower on the 700 to 750 lb. steers; 800 to 850 lbs. were 5.00 higher and 900 to 950 lbs. were 4.00 higher. Feeder heifers 700 to 750 lbs. were 3.00 higher. Other weights of steers and heifers could not be compared due to numbers from last week. Good demand for todays offering which was smaller due to the cold weather around the state. Most producers didn't want to move their feeders to town with the present weather conditions. Larger numbers of feeders are expected next week with moderating weather conditions. Feeders were in moderate to moderate plus flesh condition. Buyers were actively bidding for todays offering.
