Reporter comment USDA

As filed

First reported sale of the fall marketing season, no price comparisons available. Good to very good demand for this offering of yearling steers and heifers, the yearlings were off grass and in an attractive light flesh. There were a few consignments of spring born calves, most lacking their fall preconditioning shots and were met by very light demand. After last week's large winter storm that dumped 2-3 feet of wet snow ground conditions are very muddy making it near impossible to get cattle hauled to town which caused many consignors to cancel.
