Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, boning type slaughter cows were steady to 1.00 lower and slaughter bulls were 8.00 to 9.00 lower; there were too few breaking type slaughter cows to establish an adequate market comparison. Feeder cattle were mostly 1.00 to 6.00 higher. Demand for feeder cattle was good; market activity and buyer interest were active. Offerings of cattle were mostly moderate. Cattle quality was average to attractive. Baby calves ranged 20.00 to 30.00 per head.
