Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows were 3.00 to 4.00 higher, boning type were steady to 1.00 higher, and slaughter bulls were 2.00 to 3.00 higher. Feeder steers and heifers were mostly steady to 1.00 higher on a fairly light test; there were too few comparable feeder bulls to establish an adequate market comparison. Demand was moderate; market activity and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were fairly light. Cattle quality was plain.
