Compared to last week, there were too few breaking type slaughter cows to establish an adequate market comparison; boning type slaughter cows were 1.00 to 2.00 lower and slaughter bulls were 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Feeder steers were mostly 2.00 to 3.00 lower, some 7.00 to 9.00 lower; heifers were mostly 1.00 to 3.00 lower, some 6.00 to 8.00 lower; and feeder bulls were mostly steady to 1.00 lower, some 4.00 to 5.00 lower. Demand, market activity, and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were mostly moderate. Cattle quality was average. One baby calf weighing 40 lbs. brought 60.00 per head.
