Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, slaughter cows were 5.00 to 8.00 higher, while bulls had too few comparable head to establish an adequate market comparison. Feeder steers were very lightly tested and were mostly steady to 1.00 higher; bulls were mostly 3.00 to 4.00 higher; while heifers were 2.00 to 8.00 lower. Demand, market activity, and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were fairly light. Cattle quality was average.
