Compared to last week, slaughter cows were 1.00 to 2.00 higher, while bulls were 5.00 to 6.00 lower on a fairly light test. Feeder steers, 400-450 lbs., were 5.00 to 6.00 higher, while heavier weights were too lightly tested to establish an adequate market comparison; 400-600 lbs. heifers were mostly 5.00-6.00 higher, while 600-700 lbs. were lightly tested with a lower undertone noted; feeder bulls, 450-500 lbs., were 2.00 to 3.00 higher, while 500-700 lbs. were mostly 1.00 to 5.00 lower. Demand, market activity, and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were mostly moderate. Cattle quality was average.
