Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows were 4.00 to 5.00 higher and boning type slaughter cows were 7.00 to 8.00 higher; slaughter bulls were 1.00 to 2.00 lower on a light test. Feeder cattle were mostly 3.00 to 6.00 lower on a fairly light test. Demand was mostly moderate, good for value added cattle; market activity and buyer interest were mostly moderate. Offerings of cattle were fairly light. Cattle quality was mostly average. "By the head" calves ranged 105.00 to 350.00 per head.
