Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Current hog receipts 1.

Compared to last week, breaking type slaughter cows were 2.00 to 3.00 higher, boning type were steady to 1.00 higher, and slaughter bulls were 3.00 to 4.00 higher. There were too few comparable feeder cattle to establish an adequate market comparison. Demand was moderate; market activity and buyer interest were moderate. Offerings of cattle were light due to ongoing wet weather. Cattle quality was plain to average.
