Compared to last week, boning type slaughter cows were steady to 1.00 lower, while slaughter bulls were 3.00 to 4.00 higher; there were too few breaking type slaughter cows to establish an adequate market comparison. There were too few comparable feeder steers and heifers to establish an adequate market comparison, however a lower undertone was noted; feeder bulls were 12.00 to 14.00 higher on a very light test. Demand was moderate to good; market activity and buyer interest were active. Offerings of cattle were fairly light. Cattle quality was average. Baby calves (8 head) ranged 10.00 to 45.00 per head.
