Compared to last week, boning type slaughter cows were steady to 1.00 lower, while slaughter bulls were 3.00 to 5.00 higher; there were too few breaking type slaughter cows to establish an adequate market comparison. Feeder steers were mostly 3.00 to 5.00 higher; feeder heifers mostly 3.00 to 6.00 higher; and feeder bulls were mostly 1.00 to 2.00 higher. Demand was good; market activity and buyer interest were active. Offerings of cattle were fairly heavy. Cattle quality was average. Baby calves (9 head) ranged 40.00 to 100.00 per head.
