Demand was good to very good for the 16th annual Montana Angus Female Bonanza. Supply consisted of high quality, uniform, commercial Angus bred heifers and young cows. Market activity was active to very active with many buyers on hand from all over the country as well as on the internet and phone actively bidding on offerings. Cattle sold to numerous states and all regions of the country. Heifer and young cow offerings were offered both AI and natural service, with AI offerings selling with the best demand. Most lots were set to calve in tight calving windows, mostly 2-3 days if A.I. or 14-30 days if pasture bred. Cows and heifers were in light to moderate flesh condition. All AI offerings were sorted for the sex of the calf, with all purchases tagged for sex.
