Compared to last week: Steer calves and yearlings were too lightly tested previously to develop a market trend. Heifer calves were too lightly tested to develop a market trend. Yearling heifers were too lightly tested either this sale or last week to develop an accurate market trend, however slightly higher undertones were noticed on heifers under 900 lbs and slightly lower undertones were noticed on heifers over 900 lbs. Demand today was light to moderate for moderate offerings. Weigh up cows sold on mostly light to moderate demand for moderate offerings. Slaughter cows sold mostly 1.00-3.00 lower on boning and lean cows. Breaking cows were too lightly tested to develop an accurate market trend. Feeding cows sold steady to 3.00 lower in a narrow comparison. Slaughter bulls sold 5.00-8.00 lower.
