Compared to last sale: Steer calves weighing less than 500 lbs were too lightly tested either this week or last to develop an accurate market trend, however steady undertones were noticed. 500-599 lbs steers offered the best test this week selling mostly 2.00 higher. Steers over 600 lbs were too lightly tested to trend, however higher undertones were noticed. 500-549 lbs heifers offered the best test this week. These offerings sold mostly 5.00 higher. Heifer calves weighing less than 500 lbs were too lightly tested to trend, however higher undertones were noticed; heifers over 550 lbs not well compared. Quality this week was mostly attractive to very attractive. Demand for feeder cattle was mostly good for light to moderate offerings. Feedlot ready cattle sold on stronger demand this week as quality was mostly very attractive. Market activity this week was mostly active. Weigh up cows sold on mostly moderate to good demand for very light offerings. Slaughter cows were too lightly tested to develop an accurate market trend, however higher undertones were noticed. Slaughter bulls were not well compared. Feeding cows were too lightly tested to develop an accurate market trend, however steady undertones were noted. Young age cows were not well compared.
