Compared to last sale(6-12-25): Feeder steer and heifer calves were all too lightly tested last sale to develop any market trend. Demand was mostly good to very good for light offerings. Quality this week was mostly plain to average. Many blemished offerings continue to be seen as buyers clean up cattle before turning them out on grass. The bulk of the feeder offering was comprised of fall calves. Calves were mixed for weaning status this week. Demand for cutting bulls remains very good as several buyers were searching for bulls to cut and make steers, while others were searching for bulls to semen test, and turn out with cows. Market activity was active with good participation noticed both ringside and over the internet. Weigh up cows comprised most of the offering this week. Weigh up cows sold on mostly good demand for light to moderate offerings. A larger portion of the cow offering was purchased for harvest this week as packers gear up for the 4th of July holiday. Slaughter cows were too lightly tested last sale to develop an accurate market trend, however higher undertones were noticed on all offerings. Demand for feeding cows was good to very good. Feeding cows sold steady to 2.00 higher. Cow quality this week was mostly average to attractive and similar to last sale. Weigh up conditions were mixed this week, but overall cows offered buyers an average to above average weigh up. Slaughter bulls sold on mostly moderate to good demand for moderate offerings. Slaughter bulls sold mostly steady to 3.00 higher. Young age cows suitable to feed or rebreed sold on mostly good demand. Quality this week was mostly average to very attractive. Young age cows sold 10.00-15.00 higher on a much more attractive offering.
