Compared to last week, steer calves sold mostly 20.00-30.00 higher and yearlings were lightly tested last week but sold with a higher undertone. Heifer calves under 500 lbs sold 20.00-30.00 higher, 500-600 lbs 8.00-15.00 higher and over 600 lbs steady to 5.00 higher. Supply was moderate and demand was very good with buyers seemingly overflowing with confidence in the market. The quality was attractive and it made for a pretty snappy sale with prices as good as they've been. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-4.00 higher.
